Knee Replacement Gone Bad; New York Medical Malpractice Lawyer Explains
http://www.oginski-law.com
A woman went to have a uni-compartmental knee replacement, and immediately upon waking from surgery was in extreme pain in the back of her knee. Despite the orthopedist's reassurances that everything was fine, and that physical therapy would solve her problem, the pain continued for the next four months.
Follow-up x-rays revealed that the original hardware was not put in the correct position during the original surgery. As a result, this patient had to undergo corrective surgery to remove all of the hardware and then put in a total knee replacement to fix the problem.
The tragedy was that this was totally preventable if an x-ray had been taken during surgery. Watch the video to learn more.

New York Daily News blows the lid on cover-ups at New York City Hospitals
New York Daily News blows the lid on cover-ups at New York City municipal hospitals including Bellevue hospital, Coney Island hospital, Elmhurst hospital, Harlem hospital, Jacobi hospital, Kings County hospital, Lincoln hospital, Metropolitan hospital, North Central Bronx hospital, Queens General hospital and Woodhull hospital.
"City-run hospitals faked records and covered up dozens of botched operations, deadly accidents, malpractice and other medical screwups, a Daily News investigation has found.
The coverups hid a trail of human suffering among patients who were maimed and relatives who were never told the truth about how their loved ones died or were injured unnecessarily."

Accident Victims: Why Negotiating On Your Own Is Never Good
http://www.oginski-law.com
Learn why insurance companies love to deal and negotiate with inexperienced accident victims. It's a perfect way for them to save thousands of dollars in claims. The accident victim without experience to negotiate their case does not yet recognize what permanent injuries they may have suffered; they may not realize what medical expenses they will incur in the future; they may not have enough information to compare their injuries with someone who had similar injuries in the same town or county where they live. As a result, the insurance companies will often take advantage of an injury victim. Learn why it is so important to have an experienced New York accident attorney to evaluate & negotiate your accident claim. Listen in as Gerry Oginski, an experienced personal injury and accident trial lawyer practicing law in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island, Nassau, Suffolk & Long Island explains. For more information go to Gerry's popular website http://www.oginski-law.com or call Gerry personally at 516-487-8207 for answers to your legal questions.
