New York Trial Lawyer-Worst Cross Examination Ever
http://www.oginski-law.com
I was in court last week and had an opportunity to watch an experienced trial lawyer cross-examine an expert doctor on the witness stand. I was shocked to see the worst cross examination ever in my 21 years of practice.
The attorney could barely formulate a question. He asked open-ended questions, allowing the expert to explain away most answers.
The lawyer violated every rule of cross examination and gave up total control of this witness. I actually felt bad sitting in court watching this spectacle. Watch the video to learn why.

NY Trial Attorney: The Worst Closing Argument
http://www.oginski-law.com
I was in court last week and listened to a closing argument while waiting for case of mine to be called for conference. After 10 minutes of listening to the defense attorney, I couldn't figure out what he was talking about. When I went into the hall to speak to my adversary, I asked him what he thought of the defense attorney's closing argument. He said the same thing I did.
I also had a chance to listen to the plaintiff's closing argument as well. His remarks were just as bad as the defense attorney's. Watch the video to learn who won the case.

NY Medical Malpractice: Choosing an Attorney From Yellow Pages
http://www.oginski-law.com
You were injured in an accident or at the hands of a doctor or hospital. You made the decision to find a lawyer. You reach for your yellow pages and start to thumb through the lawyer section. You are bombarded with huge full-page ads that scream at you but fail to explain how one lawyer is any different from another.
Learn why choosing an attorney from the yellow pages is so difficult. Do you really want to choose an attorney the same way you choose a plumber, by picking the largest ad, thinking that's the right attorney for you?
The key in choosing the right lawyer is to become educated and to learn how that lawyer or law firm can help solve your legal problem. Ask yourself whether the ads in the yellow pages do that.

Watch What Happens When You Lie During Your Lawsuit
http://www.oginski-law.com
Have you ever noticed that when someone asks you a question you may have a tendency to tell a "little white lie?" Maybe you don't want to provide all the information you are asked. Maybe something is too personal to discuss. You may get away with that during your every-day activities.
However, when you bring a lawsuit for injuries suffered from an accident or from wrongdoing by a doctor or hospital, your credibility is everything. If you tell a little white lie during the course of your litigation, it will come back to haunt you. Watch the video to find out how.

New York Lawyer Guarantees Outcome? No Chance
http://www.oginski-law.com
We all know that no matter how good your lawyer is and how good your case is, a lawyer in New York could never guarantee the result of your case. When choosing to hire a medical malpractice or accident Orlawyer, there are certain guarantees that a lawyer can make that may help you decide which lawyer or law firm is right for you.
Watch the video to learn about the guarantees that a lawyer can make.

How To Hire a NY Lawyer Without Paying a Dime (Upfront)
http://www.oginski-law.com
You've been involved in an accident, or suffered injury at the hands of a doctor or hospital. You are thinking about bringing a lawsuit but don't know how you would pay an attorney to represent you. Learn how you can hire a New York medical malpractice or accident trial lawyer without having to pay a single penny upfront.
This video explores what a "contingency fee" is and why it allows you, as an injured victim, the ability to hire the best trial lawyer you can find without having to pay them a single penny to investigate or prosecute your case. A hundred years ago, if you had a legal problem, you went to an attorney and paid for their time. But what if you couldn't afford to hire an attorney and you needed legal help? Many times, you were out of luck unless the lawyer was willing to take on your case without a fee (also known as pro bono).
With a contingency fee, if the lawyer is ultimately successful in obtaining compensation for you, he or she will receive a percentage of the money that they have obtained on your behalf. This allows you to hire a great lawyer without having to pay them an hourly fee.

How To Choose a NY Lawyer From a Radio Ad
http://www.oginski-law.com
You are driving to work one day and you hear an advertisement for a law firm on the radio. How do you know whether this law firm is right for you based only on the 15 second advertisement you hear?
The problem with radio advertisements for lawyers is that you cannot distinguish one law firm from another. If you are a legal consumer looking to hire an attorney, ask yourself "What educational information is this law firm providing that will help you make an educated decision about whether this is the right law firm for you?"
In all likelihood, the 15 or 30 second ad gives you very little information that will help you make a decision. Watch the video to learn more.
